Animals, birds, insects or ocean life make a great subject for all media and
age groups. Learn to draw, sketch, paint or scuplt realistic animals. Specify
which animal you would like your class to draw.
Photos of your chosen subject are very helpful. I have many photos; let me
know if you’d like me to bring them! I have animal "group"
photos (mammals in general) etc. but not likely 30 photos of Penguins, specifically.
It's really helpful for your class to gather reference materials ahead of
time if you wish to do a specific animal.
Younger students are most successful with front or side views of animals.
Any view will work for older students! Front, side or three quarters!
(Indicate which animal or group (mammals, birds, whales etc.) & which
medium!)

Charcoal, Charcoal & Chalk,
Oil Pastel & Pen & Ink.
