Pencil Sketching

Supplies:

--- Paper 8.5"x11" white copy paper (or larger)
--- Pencils (non-mechanical)
--- Erasers

  Special Notes: Pencil Sketching is not generally recommended for students younger than Grade 3... they are not very interested in it and greatly prefer colour!

Classroom set up:
• I will need an open floor area to gather everyone for a short demonstration and then we’ll be working at the desks/tables. No table needed for the demonstration… I’ll bring my workbox to allow everyone a good view!
• Please get everyone to clear desks (except for things they’ll need.) We’ll have more art time!
• A flip-chart page is the best option for the directed drawing part of this lesson. It allows me to use colour & shading. I can also do the lesson using the chalkboard or whiteboard.
