Pen & Ink Supplies

Supplies:

--- Paper - white 8.5”x11”copy paper – one and a half sheets per student (Half sheet is for pen exercise!)
--- Pencils & Erasers
--- Fine Black Felt Tip Pens (Outlining pens - Pilot FineLiners, Sharpies or Equiv.)

--- Reference Materials (IF NEEDED) - photos of your subject. No silhouette photos please… should show light, medium and dark tones. I will bring photos but cannot guarantee a specific subject will be present. Please encourage students to find a photo ahead of time as they may wish to continue using the photo after the workshop. (My photos leave with me!)
  

Helpful Tip: If we are using student pens, please have students test their pens ahead of time so that they will have time to replace dried out pens if needed.

Classroom set up:
• I will need an open floor area to gather everyone for a short demonstration and then we’ll be working at the desks/tables. No table needed for the demonstration… I’ll bring my workbox to allow everyone a good view!
• Please get everyone to clear desks (except for things they’ll need.) We’ll have more art time!
